The Storytelling project was born out of a strategic need at Hurb, which faced challenges in clearly and effectively communicating its business model. As a solution, we developed an informative motion design video, using animation to present the mechanics of an OTA (Online Travel Agency) in a simplified and engaging way.
This project was highly collaborative. I led the creative direction alongside a multidisciplinary team of four designers, two motion designers, and two filmmakers. We began by structuring the script, mapping out key pain points and essential touchpoints for the narrative. Next, we developed a storyboard to ensure a strong visual foundation that aligned with our communication goals.
Once the storyboard was approved, we defined the style guide, establishing the project’s visual identity. We then moved into blocking to refine the animation’s pacing before final production. The final animation successfully brought our visual and narrative concepts to life, resulting in a compelling and dynamic video.
The material has been effectively used in internal presentations and pitch decks for investors, enhancing Hurb’s business model communication with clarity and impact.
